Solar energy harvest 2022

Seminar winter semester 2020/2021

While renewable energies were already able to generate around half of Germany's electricity consumption in the first half of 2020, their share of German heat consumption is still less than 14%. In the medium to long term, solar energy is expected to make a significant contribution to electricity and heat generation. Baden-Württemberg is now the first German state to have decided to make it compulsory to use solar energy on non-residential buildings and large parking areas, which will apply from 2022. For this purpose, architecturally high-quality solutions are sought that use as much solar energy as possible at the lowest possible cost.
