Directions

By public transport

From the main station take the tram lines U29 and U14 to "Börsenplatz" or alternatively bus lines 40 and 42, stop "Katharinenhospital".

By plane

The S-Bahn station at Stuttgart Airport is located on level 1 (signposted S). A ticket must be purchased before entering the platform. The orange ticket machines are located directly in front of the escalator. For the trip to the university/ city center area, a ticket for two zones is required. Enter the code "002" on the keypad of the ticket machine and pay for the ticket by cash or card. On the platform, take the S-Bahn line S2 or S3 in the direction of "Hauptbahnhof" (main station) and get off at "Hauptbahnhof" (deep). Then either walk or take the suburban railroad lines U29 and U14 to the "Börsenplatz" stop or alternatively bus lines 40 and 42 to the "Katharinenhospital" stop.

By car

Direction Stuttgart center, Stuttgart main station, Friedrichstraße (B 27 direction Tübingen), entrance Schellingstraße and then turn into Keplerstraße.

For arrivals by car please note: The Stuttgart city area is considered a "low emission zone". This means that every vehicle needs a green environmental sticker to be allowed to drive and park in Stuttgart. In addition, a year-round driving ban applies to all vehicles with diesel engines that meet the Euro 4/IV emission standard or worse. The city of Stuttgart has compiled further information on the diesel traffic ban for you.
